Kate Lindley's Books

Kate's debut novel, Bound In Arms, published on November 7, 2025!

Spanning generations and landscapes—from the peaceful waters of upstate New York to the golden fields of Montana—Bound In Arms is a poignant novel about love, war, loss, and the fragile threads that bind a family together. It is the story of the quiet battles we fight within, and the ones we win by choosing to feel again.

In the small town of Alexandria Bay, New York, Brooklyn Cassidy is just trying to stay afloat—grieving her mother, navigating her father Dallas's alcoholism, and leaning on her lifelong best friend, Chase Knight, the one person who keeps her steady. But when World War III erupts and Chase is drafted, Brooklyn loses the anchor she's depended on her whole life, and her world begins to mirror the collapse her father once lived through.

Told in alternating timelines, Dallas Cassidy's story unfolds decades earlier in Big Sky, Montana, where a young Marine falls in love with Josie Hagen, the woman who changes the course of his life. His chapters trace a love marked by war, marriage, heartbreak, and the quiet unraveling that follows devastating loss. As Brooklyn grows closer to her father in the present day, she begins to uncover his past piece by piece, discovering how profoundly their stories intertwine.

Variance

Coming 2027!

A character-driven conspiracy thriller with strong psychological and dystopian elements

The Vossler name once defined the future.

Then their future went up in flames.

In 2048, a catastrophic bombing tore through Vossler-Sorin Industries, killing hundreds and reducing a global empire to ruins. Two years later, the surviving heirs remain trapped in the wreckage—haunted by unanswered questions, buried evidence, and a pattern of loss that refuses to end.

A dead wife.

A missing father.

A legacy built on secrets.

As federal investigators close in and powerful figures begin moving in the shadows, four lives collide:

An executive assistant who witnesses an assassination attempt—and loses her best friend because of it.

A fugitive agent hunting a connection no one else believes exists.

A calculating heir determined to resurrect his family's fallen empire.

And a shadow operative playing both sides of a war the world doesn't yet know has begun.

At the center of it all lies a revolutionary technology with the power to make permanent biological damage reversible—and humanity unrecognizable.

Everyone wants it.

Some will kill to possess it.

And every secret, every betrayal, and every death leads back to one man:

The man who bombed Vossler-Sorin Industries in 2048.

But the bombing was only the beginning.

Author Bio

Kate Lindley is a fiction author who writes stories about resilience, redemption, moral complexity, and the complicated bonds of family. She's drawn to characters who feel real—flawed, relatable, and shaped by the experiences that change them.

Her work explores what it means to survive difficult challenges and still choose connection, hope, and growth. Rather than offering easy answers, Kate's stories sit with the emotional truth of lived experience and the long road back to oneself.

Her debut novel, Bound In Arms, reflects her belief that stories should do more than entertain—they should make readers feel something that stays with them and, in some small way, changes them.
